Daily Goal Progress Tracker
A local-first Android beta that separates the daily plan from the real outcome instead of reducing progress to one habit checkbox.
Problem
Binary habit trackers blur planned rest, unfinished days, minimum effort, and work done beyond the plan into one streak-focused signal.
Outcome
The current beta keeps plan and execution separate, supports daily or selected-day goals, records Done, Minimum, Not done and Bonus outcomes, and gives users a limited weekly break allowance while keeping all goal data on the device.
Highlights
- Separates what was planned from what was actually completed.
- Supports selected weekdays and a Monday-to-Sunday break allowance.
- Runs without an account, cloud sync, analytics, or Android internet permission.
Daily Goal Progress Tracker is designed around a simple distinction: the plan for a day and the real result are not the same fact. That makes room for a defined minimum, an honest missed goal, planned rest, and bonus work without silently changing history.
The current Kotlin and Jetpack Compose beta covers the first complete daily workflow, selected weekdays, weekly break allowances, immediate undo, and local Room persistence. Later product slices are intentionally not presented as available yet.
